CBC logoMonthly meeting held on the first Saturday of every month(except during school holidays) at 10am, Armidale Dumaresq Library. These meetings are great fun–they’re not just about sub-branch business, but about sharing a love of children’s books through discussion, presenting of old favourites and new discoveries, and keeping up to date with the latest news in the children’s literature world.

. Every meeting has a theme–and these have ranged from a discussion of different versions of fairy tales to a history of comics and graphic novels, an exploration of illustration to a thorough look at titles shortlisted for the CBC Awards. Sometimes we also have special presentations from members knowledgeable in certain areas, as well as by local and visiting authors and illustrators.
